Halo Hattie and the Galaxiers Discovery is a comedy-fantasy adventure novel for children aged 7yrs+.
In this tale, Hattie unearths the hidden Galaxy Garden in her new home. Within it, she discovers the Galaxiers, a group of culturally diverse talking animals, seeking refuge until they are united with their missing families. Unexpectedly, Hattie is responsible for reuniting the Galaxiers using the all-powerful halo.
Meanwhile, the creator of the halo, the dastard scientist, Gartoid Manderblythen, is hot on the trail for the halo, as it’s gone missing from his lab!
Hattie must confront her own moral dilemma: will she keep her word, or will she betray the Galaxiers? The comedy magical adventure begins...
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
LA Edwards is a fast-rising author, with 20yrs+ experience working with children from Birmingham. She loves to play shimmy-comedy matchmaker, transporting readers to a place where bold characters have endearing, but not-so perfect qualities and where black characters are the centrepiece of her plot!
